Cork... Plywood... Just beautiful...

At Galliano-Doig Design, I celebrate the elegance of nature through my handcrafted plant stands, coffee and side tables, made from the finest cork and plywood. My passion for garden, interior, and furniture design has driven the desire to elevate house plants with stands that beautifully complement the eclectic mid-century charm of my heritage home.

The simplicity and honesty of plywood, paired with the warm, enduring qualities of cork, inspired me to craft unique pieces that not only fit my personal aesthetic but also captured the attention of friends and family. Their enthusiasm and requests transformed a personal project into a collection that I'm thrilled to share with you here. Each piece is designed to celebrate the beauty of your home and plants.

I hope they bring the same joy and beauty into your lives, as they have ours.

About Mark

I am a garden, interior and furniture designer of over 15 years. I have designed, built and planted many contemporary cottage and formal gardens, created bespoke handmade kitchens, lovingly restored houses using traditional methods, and really, really love to make furniture. I believe that for great design to be truly beautiful it should celebrate simple, honest materials - form must always follow function. Every material has its rightful place.

I love cottage gardens, houseplants, retro furniture and… making chilli sauces.

I love cork

Every piece of cork’s pattern is as unique as a fingerprint. It is warm to the touch and to the eye. It is tactile, sustainable and naturally resilient, making it both hard wearing and stylish.

Your cascading interior garden

Whether displaying cut flowers or your beloved houseplants, these stands work as a flexible indoor garden that can create a tiered cascading effect, however small or large your space.
